Yoga
Yoga is a traditional practice from India encompassing awareness through breathing, meditation, and physical postures, all aiming towards spiritual liberation.

We offer Ashtanga, Hatha, and Vinyasa style Yoga. Clients are guided through movements that promote bodily awareness synchronized with breath, and are thereby safeguarded from injury while becoming more dexterous and kinesthetically self-aware. By locating the breath, aspiring yogis are able to access energy, grace, and balance through movements that birng us closer to homeostasis (balanced state). Yoga Class
You should bring comfortable clothes that allow you to move easily. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to sign in, get changed, and settle into class.
The majority of the class time, you will be moving your body through a variety of interesting and challenging positions that nurture suppleness, dexterity, and awareness. As you continue to practice, the positions will become familiar, allowing you to discover new challenges which keep you engaged along the journey. Class ends with a restorative pose and a moment of meditation. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes, as well as private yoga sessions.
Yoga Styles
Prana Flow with Mercedes Rodriguez
My practice and teaching style bring together yoga and music, with a focus on the flow of the breath and conscious movement as a way to connect to the heart. I have discovered that through the music of our breathing, we can begin to hear the voice of our truest self. This joyful discovery, along with the mystical power of chanting, is something I seek to share with others through my teaching.
Ashtanga-Inspired Flow with Dana Tarasavage

Traditional Ashtanga Sun Salutations begin every class. Students then move through a powerful, inspiring standing series. We focus on building strength and stamina, lengthening muscles and creating a deep core connection. Next, we explore seated postures, including forward and backward bends, twists and optional inversions. The ujjayi breath is used to calm and connect mind and body. Strong, precise, alignment-based movements are encouraged by use of the Movement Salon's unique "Align-Mats."
Gentle Hatha with Maggi An Wilson
Gentle Hatha Yoga offers a platform for one to discover a quieting of the mind while finding relief for the stresses of everyday life. You will discover a new lengthening and opening within the muscles and energy channels which flow throughout the body through the practices of meditation, pranayama (breath control), and still asana (posture). There is a particular focus on spinal decompression, hip openers, and lengthening throughout the backs of the legs. While experiencing the benefits of a slowed and calm breath in conjunction with physically exploring the effects of gravity, this practice will encourage mind-body-soul relaxation and restoration.
Vinyasa and Meditation with Rachel Stokoe
Acceptance of the present to let the ego fall away: this is the practice of yoga and the aim of my classes. A Vinyasa flow based on personal experience through asanas and breath; a state of awareness where motion and stillness are interchangeable; flowing movement with attention to alignment and rigor that gives way to breath; breath which carries into it a fluidity of body and mindfulness: this is yoga. Yoga is what we bring to our lives, and this understanding is what we bring to our mats. Yoga is the practice and discipline that brings us closer to a state of grace.
Hatha with Prapaporn Cumphiranon (Paula)

The teaching approach focuses on the strength and flexibility of the spine, stimulation of circulation, increase in motion range of the joints and flexibility in muscles, tendons, and ligaments through Asana (steady poses) and Pranayama (yogic breathing techniques.) The deep relaxation (yogic sleep) combined with breathing exercises in the class also increases oxygen in blood and stimulates the energy reserves of the solar plexus, revitalizing and re-energizing the body and mind. The classes are safe and encourage exploration, emphasizing staying open to new yoga poses and consequently, new life experiences.
